Pet Medications & Health Emergencies

-   Steph’s TLC Pet Sitting will administer prescription and non-prescription medications to your pet, while pet sitting.   In order to do this, the following would be required:

o  We need a copy of the orders or visit summary from your veterinarian.

o  Medications need to be in the container issued by the vet. or pharmacist, with the instructions clearly indicated.

o  Non-prescription medicines and applicable dosages must be indicated on a copy of the vet’s. orders or visit summary.

-   Emergencies: Every pet sitting contract includes a section on what to do if a medical emergency occurs. You will be asked for your animals’ veterinarian’s name,

contact information, and other relevant information.

-   If you have not specified a vet., or they are unreachable, Steph’s TLC Pet Sitting will use the Animal Hospital of Largo (Dr. Mike Banull), during normal business

hours, or Blue Pearl Veterinarian Partners for after-hours emergency care.
